Prof. Klaus Wolff

Born on December 4, 1935, Klaus Wolff went to Medical School at the University of Vienna. After specialty training in Dermatology at the Department of Dermatology, University of Vienna, and a postdoctoral fellowship funded by the NIH at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota, Klaus Wolff was appointed Head of the Department of Experimental Dermatology at the University of Vienna and served as a visiting professor at Harvard University, Boston, Massachusetts.

In1976 he became full professor and chairman of the Department of Dermatology at the University of Innsbruck and in 1981 he was appointed full professor and chairman of the Department of Dermatology at the University of Vienna. In this capacity he taught and trained generations of medical students and dermatologists. Focused research, internationally acclaimed, resulted in the elucidation of the mechanisms of various disease processes in the skin and in the development of new therapies.

Under his leadership the Department of Dermatology of the University of Vienna rose to be ranked among the five leading dermatology institutions worldwide. Klaus Wolff became emeritus in October 2004 and since then he increasingly devotes himself to the care of his private patients and to the publications of his books.

Since 2012 Director of the Interuniversitary Master in “Wound Care” of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, University of Modena e Reggio Emilia in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery of Pisa and Ancona.

Appointed prefect of the Italian Republic in 1994 for the cities of Rovigo, Lucca, Vicenza and Parma, later of Bologna until 2013.
During these 18 years has shown tactical, strategic and problem solving skills, constantly attentive to training and updating needs.
Several teaching appointments and publications concerning many institutional and professional subjects.

Dott. Stefano Bolognini

Member since 1985 of the Italian Psychoanalytical Society. Scientific Secretary then President until 2013.
Elected by wide majority of votes, in 2010, President of the International Psychoanalytical Association, the first Italian to achieve this prestigious, binding office in the organization founded by Sigmund Freud in 1910 and whose members are the 12.000 officially world recognized psychoanalysts.
Author of books published in several languages as well as of 200 scientific publications on national and foreign magazines.
Awarded with the Gradiva prize for his book “Come vento, come onda”

Signor Maurizio Campiverdi

Worked for 30 years in his family’s industry, buying and selling rice in nearly 100 foreign countries.
Having sold the business he took an interest in pharmaceuticals, then devoted himself to his many interests, such as writing books, publishing articles in various magazines as well as looking after his estate.
He owns prestigious collections of most rare wines and menus, as well as an impressive collection of creches.
He founded the Bologna delegation of the Accademia Italiana della Cucina (Italian Culinary Academy), the only cultural institution of the Italian Republic dealing with wine and gastronomy as well as food farming, on which matters he is an expert.
